Creating an Account
You can search and browse for eBooks in your library. However, to checkout ebooks, you must first create a free NetLibrary account Please note, if you already have a NetLibrary Account for downloadable Audiobooks, this is the same account used for eBooks.
- Select the Create a Free Account link, located in the upper right corner of the NetLibrary website.
- Enter your identifying information (user name, password, email address).
- Select the submit button.

Searching for an eBook
There are 2 ways to search for ebooks:
- 1. Search for the title from the library's online catalog. Do an advanced "keyword search" and enter title of book in "title" area and "ebook" as material type. This will bring up available ebook copies. Click on the hyperlink of the title. This will take you to the record. Then click on the hyperlink of the item.

2. Access the collection from the link on the library's webpage. You will be prompted to enter the barcode from a valid library card. This will take you to the NetLibrary home page. Then you can do a basic or advanced search (highlighted below).
Basic Search
Featured on the home page and is also available on the right side of every page with the exception of the advanced search page.
- Enter search term in the Basic Search field.
- Select keyword, title, or author.
- Click search.

Advanced Search
- Click on the Advanced Search tab located in the top navigation.
- Use the drop-down menu to select search parameter (Title, Author, Subject, ISBN).
- Enter search term or multiple search terms using Boolean operators.
- Click search.

Logging In
Go to http://netlibrary.com from any computer with Internet access.
- Select the Log In link in the upper right corner of the NetLibrary website and enter your username and password in the Log In box.
- Click the red Log in button.

You now have access to all ebooks available in the library's collection.

Viewing an EBook
Ebooks may be viewed, after logging in
From search results, click on the View this eBook link to Open or View the ebook file.

Get Help
- In NetLibrary, detailed information is available by clicking on the help tab in the top navigation bar.
- Context-sensitive help is also available by clicking on the tips links located on each page and in the NetLibrary online reader.
